Let's Go Camping!

Nothing like hanging out around a camp fire, eating, and playing games! We had a blast this last weekend staying up until 1-2 in the morning. And boy oh boy did we ever get dirty and stinky! Left to right, Mandy(sister), Jared(brother), Cherice(Jared's wife), Steve(Mandy's hubby), Brin, Jeff, Me, Chris(Carrie's hubby), and Carrie(sister)

My Mom was hiding behind Emmie because she didn't want to be in a picture. Notty girl, doesn't she know that EVERYONE looks grungy when camping! I love this sexy picture of Jeff! Isn't he cute?! Also my sister Amber, she loves to ham up pictures!
Dirty Cute Kids!!!! These cousins had a blast playing with each other!
Best Buddies, Caden and Jake.

My brother, Jared, and his little family came to visit this week from Washington. I haven't seen him in 3 years! He is in the Navy so he is home for about 9 months and then back on ship or in Afghanistan or Iraq for 6 months at a time. It has been hard for me to not see my big brother. We were called the twins growing up because we are only 13 months apart and we were inseparable. We did everything together including dating each others friends.

Grandma Hyer

Yesterday, July 10th, my Grandma Hyer passed away. She was a lady of conviction, if she wanted something done she knew how to go about it. She was well known in her home town of Wahiawa, HI. When I googled her I was amazed at how many times she showed up for doing things for her community. Because my Grandma was from Hawaii I wasn't able to be with her nearly as much as I would have liked to. She only met Jeff once and never got to meet any of my kids in person. I feel bad that they will only know her in pictures and stories. Grandma wasn't one for showing much affection, but she always was kind and loving to me. I will miss her and I hope she can find Joy in the next life.

Having fun in the Soda Springs 4th parade. Peace around the World! Jeff, Holly, Brinley, Porter, Caden, Talon, Haylen, Jamie, and Emilie. Jamie is working with us at OTEC. We are so happy to have her with us!

Jeff and Mom Collins made me a WONDERFUL dinner and cake! YUMMY! Thanks you guys!

Just having a little bubble bath then rinsing off in the shower!

Every year on the 4th Soda Springs fire department sprays out foam for all the "kids" to play in. It is a blast watching people slide through them. It feels so good in the heat. However, not so good if you leave it sitting on your skin. So after getting sprayed off with the fire hose the kids decided they wanted one more shower so we headed over to the Soda Springs Geyser. It goes off once an hour. Luckily the water cools down before it hits the kids. They loved it even though it smelled a little bit like one of Brinley's diapers!
